1.2. This Site is offered to you conditioned upon your acceptance without modification of all the terms, conditions, and notices outlined herein. If you do not agree to these terms, you do not have the right to obtain information from the Site or continue using it.

1.3. As a condition of using this Site, you warrant that:

2. Services and Bookings

2.1. Saltwater Connection acts as an intermediary between customers and service providers, facilitating the booking of marine experiences such as diving tours, snorkeling, sport fishing, sailing, and other activities.

2.2. By making a booking through the Site, you acknowledge and agree that you are reserving a service operated by a third-party provider and that the contractual relationship for service execution is directly between you and the service provider.

2.3. Some bookings may require availability confirmation. In such cases, you will receive an email with a confirmation and a payment link. We recommend not making additional travel arrangements until you receive this confirmation.

3. Prices and Payments

3.1. Prices listed on the Site include the base cost of the service. Some additional charges, such as government taxes or national park fees, may not be included and will be indicated during the booking process.

3.2. Payments can be made via credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer. The booking is confirmed only once full payment has been received.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1. Cancellation deadlines and conditions may vary depending on the product. The most common policies are:

  • Cancellations more than 48 hours before the tour: 100% refund of the deposit.
  • Cancellations less than 48 hours before the tour: No refund.

4.2. For higher-value tours or multi-day experiences, different cancellation policies may apply. The specific policy for each product is detailed in the tour description. Please review this information carefully before booking.

4.3. Cancellations due to external factors:

  • If a service must be canceled due to weather conditions or force majeure, customers will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.

4.4. Any administrative costs associated with the payment gateway will be deducted from the refunded amount.

5. Responsibility and Participant Requirements

5.1. Customers are responsible for meeting the specific requirements of each activity, including diving certifications, minimum age, and medical restrictions.

5.2. Some service providers may require customers to sign liability waivers or medical forms before participating. Saltwater Connection is not responsible if a customer is unable to participate due to non-compliance with these requirements.

5.3. General restrictions:

  • Minimum age for boat tours: 4 years.
  • Minimum age for diving activities: 10 years.
  • Pregnant women are not allowed to participate in any activities.
  • Maximum tour capacity: depends on the provider and boat type.

6. Liability Limitations

6.1. Saltwater Connection is not responsible for injuries, losses, personal or property damage occurring during activities booked through our website.

6.2. We are not liable for changes in itineraries due to weather conditions, transportation delays, or other circumstances beyond our control.

6.3. We strongly recommend that all customers have travel insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, and adventure activities.

7. Jurisdiction and Dispute Resolution

7.1. Saltwater Connection is a brand operated by Aventuras Marinas RYR R.L., a company registered in Costa Rica under legal ID 3-101-868888.

7.2. Any disputes will be resolved under Costa Rican law, and we will first seek an amicable solution. If no agreement is reached within 60 days, the dispute will be resolved through binding arbitration in Costa Rica.
